User’s are not required to provide a profile image but can provide an image of their choice that is appropriate for our community of families and donors.
• Usage Data: We collect information on how the service is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). This Usage Data may include details such as your browser type, browser version, our service pages that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other diagnostic data.
• Tracking & Cookies Data: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our service.

FitFund Fundraising takes the privacy of its Users seriously and implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We are committed to protecting your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction and have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard the information we collect.

Our service requires parental consent for all of our users under the age of 18. User’s under 18 have restricted access to features of the app that can otherwise be accessed by adult Users.

We do not implement our GPS tracking system for our child athletes during live campaigns. Alternatively, User’s under 18 are defaulted to use the manual entry or pedometer system for distance tracking.

User’s under 18 are restricted from writing any public or private message on our platform to teammates, non-teammates, on Campaign Posters, on Campaign Chatter, on Beneficiary Pages, and on Beneficiary Stories. Automated messages for Child Athletes, Campaign Organizers and Beneficiary Representatives are not editable.

There are no identifiable images associated with children’s profile pages. User’s under 18 may choose between a series of pre-approved avatars.

The identifiable information that we collect for our user’s under 18 are birthday, name, username, and email address. We collect date of birth information to determine if the system will provide the User with a child account or an adult account. We collect name and @username so that prospective teammates and sponsors can search and find the User to become FitFund teammates and to sponsor them in their registered campaigns.

We collect email address in order for Admin to send donation receipts and any other Admin questions that may arise from acting as a Beneficiary Representative or Campaign Organizer. Any email sent to a child user from FitFund Admin will also include the email provided by the Parent/Guardian during the Profile Setup stage.

We do not knowingly collect any other identifiable information for our users under 18. In the case we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information other than their name, @username, date of birth and email address, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information other than their name, @username, date of birth, or email address, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary actions.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
