“We are Fitness Fundraising…
Raising money through movement and exercise.”

So if I sponsor an athlete, you guys will send me an invoice or something when the campaign is complete?
Yes.
But we don’t call it an invoice. We call it a “Donation Suggestion.”
We will calculate your suggested donation by multiplying the dollar amount of your per/mile pledge by the distance your athlete traveled during the campaign.
We will then send you this number for your approval when the campaign is over.

I received the donation suggestion. This month is tighter than I thought.
Perhaps I could donate next month or just donate less than what I signed up for? I may even need to bail out of this donation completely.
Any help?
No worries.
You are not obligated to donate. There is no penalty or fee for changing your mind.
You can even edit the suggested donation to a number that works better for you.
No amount is too small or too big.
We offer a full refund for any reason if you request your refund before we transfer the funds to the beneficiary.

Ok. Well, how much of the generated funds in our bike-a-thon will actually go to the beneficiary?
Good question.
Yes, FitFund keeps a percentage of the campaign funds as their fee.
The more money your campaign raises, the more money for the beneficiary.
Here is FitFund’s fee breakdown…
| Gross Campaign Funds | FitFund Fee |
|---|---|
| < $10K | 6% |
| $10K – $20K | 5% |
| > $20K | 4% |

But why do we have to exercise to raise the money?
Wouldn’t it be easier to use that other fundraising app?
Thank you for your honesty. We understand completely.
Our response is that you don’t have to do anything if you don’t want to. Just to be healthy enough to get to exercise is a blessing.
It’s just that we at FitFund care about your health, and we believe our technology will serve as added motivation for us all to move more and be healthier.

Sounds pretty cool so far.
But I kinda hate the hassle of these big events. They’re crowded, I’ll have to pay for parking, and I’m late for everything.
FitFund allows our Athletes to participate in the same campaigns no matter where they are located.
So no need to organize one big, in-person event unless you want to!

Our teacher is starting a FitFund campaign to build us a school.
Can we extend our invitations to people beyond our local communities?
Yes.
Anyone can sponsor any athlete in every FitFund event.
If people agree with the cause, they will want to support it—even if you have never met them or if they live in a different area code.

We received a FitFund invitation from our friends.
We are excited to participate as athletes and donors!
Who do you think we should contact to sponsor our movements?
Friends, family, co-workers and neighbors are a good start.
Basically anyone with a credit card and wants to help support your cause and contribute to your good health.

I’m a pretty busy guy.
I’m not sure I have the time to promote my campaign or remind people to sponsor me.
Can you help with this?
Yes. We do all this for you.
Campaign Organizers and Athletes will benefit from our automated reminders and template systems.
Creating a campaign, or registering as an Athlete is super easy and takes just minutes to complete.
This allows you to not have to worry about sending out reminders to registered athletes or all the generous sponsors.

Most of my contacts have not downloaded your app yet and have never even heard of you guys.
Can I post my campaigns on more popular sites like, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok?
Yes!
A link to each campaign can be used to reach other platforms which would then of course have the potential to spread to the deepest and farthest corners of the internet.

Oh, so you guys will just approve all beneficiaries that apply then?
Actually, no.
There are two steps:
(1) FitFund will review the application and determine if the beneficiary is for a “good and noble cause.” If we believe it is, then…
(2) The representative of the beneficiary will need to acknowledge a document that says they will provide proof that they are using the funds for the intended purposes.

But how can I be sure my contribution went to the intended beneficiary and if the funds are being used for the intended purposes?
Let me guess… we are supposed to trust you again?
It’s a legitimate concern, and it’s something we take very seriously.
When the campaign is over, we will send notifications to all campaign athletes and donors confirming that the funds have been transferred.
If you’d like to see updates and read stories from the beneficiary, you can “follow” a beneficiary to gain access to these “Transparency Stories.”
We require our Beneficiary Representatives to post photos and write updates on how the funds have been used.

Oh I see how it is!
So you’re saying I can’t FitFund either!?
Kind Sir:
You can FitFund too but just not in your car, or with a hand mallet.
Also, no FitFunding on an airplane or on your ostrich.
Look, we’re here to support you to exercise and be healthy. So as a general rule:
“It counts if you or gravity are the ones generating the movement.”

Ok, I may not be saving the world, but my daughter is graduating from High School and I want to create a FitFund campaign to help buy her a car.
Is FitFund still the right place for this type of thing?
Yes!
We are here to make positive changes. This sounds pretty positive.
Hopefully you’re getting her an electric or hybrid car though.

Mom says we can’t have a phone until we’re 13.
You said we could manually enter our distances?
Yes.
Kids, and anyone else who doesn’t have access to a GPS device can manually enter their distances.
All children under 18 who create a profile on our app have a restricted amount of access for their own safety and to comply with the law.

What about some other types of move-a-thon ideas?
Got any suggestions there?
Yea, lots.
You got your…
Golfathons, discgolfathons, skateathons, shopathons, treadmillathons…
Whatever gets you moving!
If they want, Campaign Organizers can setup their campaigns to be classified as a “General Moveathon” so that all types of movement forms are accepted in their campaign.

So when my Trick-or-treat-a-thon to jumpstart my small solar business is over, will my beneficiary still be available for other Campaign Organizers to use in future FitFund campaigns?
YES!
Once your beneficiary is approved, it will remain on our pre-approved list for future Campaign Organizers to use.
With your permission, other Campaign Organizers wishing to start a new campaign could select your beneficiary.

Can I donate anonymously?
And do I need to setup a profile to do it?
Yes, you can donate anonymously.
Also, you do not need to download the app or create a profile to make a donation or sponsorship, but those donations/sponsorships would need to be a flat-rate amount.
If you wanted to make a per/mile sponsorship, then you’d need to download the app.

So what’s in it for me?
You mentioned there were incentives?
In all seriousness, your true prize is the joy in knowing you have helped a good and noble cause.
In addition, your second prize is your improved health.
Finally, allow yourself a boost in self-esteem knowing that your choice to participate in a FitFund campaign has helped those in need while motivating others to experience the mental and physical benefits of exercise.

Wow, I guess there really are other benefits of movement and exercise besides losing a little belly fat, huh?
Yes.
Scientific research has continued to support the anti-depressant effects of movement and exercise and we at FitFund want to put this research into action!
We are dedicated to helping our communities administer their daily exercise doses with the hope that we will all live happier and healthier lives together.

Thank you FitFund for helping us with our disaster relief funds.
The donations have helped rebuild our community.
So will the donations be tax deductible?
Actually, no.
All donations are not tax deductible and here’s why:
FitFund Fundraising is classified as a for-profit LLC.
As such all donations given and received are considered gifts and are not tax exempt.

Fair enough.
I guess I have no excuses now.
I’ve always wanted to help fundraise for charitable causes and now I can with FitFund.
I see how I can make the world a better place while promoting healthy habits for myself and my community!
Let’s do this!
Please join our community of athletes, donors, and beneficiaries.
